Reflection Questions: What if the people we knew dealing with justice issues were not just charity cases? But folks we entered into a relationship with? Moved into their neighborhood? Got to know? Genuinely loved? What does it take to be in a relationship with our city? Our Open Gym kids? Our policemen and policewomen? Our tutoring students? Our family promise families?
Reflection Questions: What would it take for me to approach the kingdom of God like a little child? To live a life of justice as a child of God that impacts the world? What would it take for me to trade:
1) Comfort for Adventure
2) Security for Faith
3) Control for Miracles
4) Success for Deep Knowledge of Jesus
Reflection Questions: How in love am I with Jesus? What does sharing Christ’s love look like in my life and in the world? What is the motive of my heart when it comes to justice? Is my heart filled with grace, mercy, and compassion for others? If not, what would it take for me to live with the heart of Jesus? If my heart is filled with grace, mercy, and compassion am I taking action to live God’s justice in the world?
As the church together, we have power and resources to transform the world by doing justice.
