Fired Up!

April 1, 2018

Reflection Questions: When it comes to Jesus, would you describe yourself as feeling more “fired” or “fired up” about Jesus?  Why?  Am I more familiar with the principles or the person of Jesus? What would it take for the Resurrected Christ to burn within my heart?  Where might Jesus be walking beside me and I simply have not seen Him there?  What would help open my eyes to the personal, Risen Lord?

Pray: Lord, through your Holy Spirit, fire me up to the reality of you.

And beyond?  Will you pray on a daily basis for God’s Holy Spirit fire to fill you personally as well as all of First Church?

Living as God’s Royalty

March 5, 2018

Our Cross to Bear

February 26, 2018

Reflection Questions: What steps of MORE and LESS am I willing to take to get out of my own comfort zone in order to better engage the holiness of God?  Am I willing to commit to even one “More” item and one “Less” item?

How can I practice more?  More focus on God?  More Bible time? More prayer? More time with God?  More nudging of others towards Christ in an intentional way?

How can I practice less?  Less noise/distraction (ie. Less social media/tech), less busy, less food (ie fasting).

Circle at least one of “More” and one of “Less” and stick to it for Lent.
